The client

Purpose Built Constructions is a Melbourne family-owned building company led by brothers Adam and Jamie Ryder. The business specialises in commercial fit-outs, office refurbishments, project management, building maintenance and end-of-lease make-good works.

The challenge

Purpose Built needed a professional website that reflected the quality of its commercial building work and positioned the company as a reliable fit-out contractor for businesses, property owners and developers across Melbourne.

The website needed to explain a broad range of commercial construction services without becoming difficult to navigate. It also needed to highlight the company's hands-on approach, trusted network of trades and strong focus on workmanship, communication and accountability.

High-quality project photography was an important part of the brief, so the design needed to give completed projects plenty of space while remaining fast and easy to use on mobile devices.

What I built

I designed and developed a completely hand-coded website with a clean, premium visual style that places the company's commercial construction work at the centre of the design.

The website includes dedicated pages for commercial fit-outs, office refurbishments, project management, building maintenance and office make-good services. Each page has been structured to clearly explain the service and guide potential clients towards making an enquiry.

I created a project portfolio showcasing completed work including display suites, wellness and training facilities, and commercial fitness spaces. Individual project pages allow Purpose Built to demonstrate the quality, range and detail of its work.

The site was built mobile-first with fast-loading code, responsive layouts, clear calls to action and an enquiry form designed to capture useful information about prospective projects.

I also structured the website around relevant commercial construction searches, with clear page titles, service-specific content and a strong technical foundation for ongoing SEO.

The result

The finished website gives Purpose Built Constructions a professional online presence that better reflects the standard of its completed projects and the experience behind the business.

Potential clients can quickly understand the company's services, view examples of previous work and learn who will be responsible for managing their project.

The result is a fast, easy-to-navigate website that positions Purpose Built as an established and accountable commercial builder while providing room to add further projects and services over time.
